Enter Modernism's Gingerbread House Contest!

One of my favorite activities during the holiday season has always been making gingerbread houses. I admit that mine were not always architecturally sound or even very creative, but I've always had fun making them. In an attempt not to embarrass myself at an upcoming holiday party that includes a gingerbread-making competition, I started searching online for gingerbread house plans. I came across some extremely creative gingerbread houses!

All these thoughts about gingerbread houses, coupled with a day in the Modernism office looking at all sorts of modern goodness and talking to our Co-Publisher Jen, yielded the idea to launch Modernism's First Annual Gingerbread House Contest!

Enter our contest for a chance to win a set of Modernism back issues, plus a set of personalized note cards from Fabulous Stationery! They have an excellent selection of modern note cards for all occasions. Here is a sample of what they offer:

Contest Rules

  • Your gingerbread house must be your own creation and must have a modernist theme. I know you all are much more creative than I am so I'm counting on seeing some amazing gingerbread houses!
  • Include pictures and a list of the supplies you used to construct your gingerbread house.
  • Email your submission to jamie@modernismmagazine.com by December 24th.
  • Finalists will be displayed on Modernism's blog and Facebook. The winner will be voted on by readers.
  • In addition to the prizes, the winning entry will be showcased on Modernism's blog.
